Yes! We are approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
Can I donate to Fidelia Fund?

How do I apply for a Fidelia Fund scholarship?
The online application is available on our Apply page here. NOTE: Applications are closed for the 2024-2025 year. They will reopen in Spring 2025.
What are the application requirements?
In addition to the online application, other requirements include an essay, your Student Aid Index (SAI) or Expected Family Contribution (EFC), and notifying us of the amount of any additional scholarships or grants, if any, that you expect to receive. Your application will not be considered complete until all of these requirements have been submitted. NOTE: Fidelia Fund is aware of the government delays in processing the 2024 FAFSA.
When is the application deadline?
Applications are currently closed. They will reopen in Spring 2025.
Do I have to fill out the FAFSA to apply for a Fidelia Fund scholarship?
Yes. Most colleges require students to fill out the FAFSA to qualify for financial aid regardless of need. It is also common for many private scholarships to require it. Fidelia Fund only asks for your Student Aid Index (SAI) or Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which is obtained by completing the FAFSA. One benefit of completing the FAFSA is that students may qualify for federal college student grants (such as the Pell Grant), which are free funds that do not need to be repaid.
How will I receive the scholarship funds?
Any monies for an awarded scholarship will be made payable directly to the college, school, or training program. No funds will be paid directly to an individual.
What can scholarship funds be used for?
Currently, scholarship funds can only be used for tuition and required fees. Not included are auxiliary expenses such as books, room and board, meal plans, commuting costs, and other expenses.
Is a Fidelia Fund scholarship renewable?
Yes, it is possible that you may receive aid for multiple years. Students are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA and complete a renewal form each year to be eligible for renewal.
What if my status changes?
Your award amount may be reduced if you drop to part-time status. It will be suspended if you are placed on academic probation or canceled if you withdraw from the university.
